Jamie O’Daniel, 36, of Bardstown, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1976, in Louisville. He was manager of Bardstown Pre-Cast, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.B. and Margaret O’Daniel; and his maternal grandfather, Felton Barber.
He is survived by his son, Braylen Jury of Bardstown; his parents, Benny and Sara O’Daniel of Bardstown; two sisters, Becky Filiatreau and her husband Jay, both of Bardstown, and Amy Mingus and her husband Barry, both of Hardinsburg; maternal grandmother Mary Barber of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Carr will officiate.
Visitation is noon – 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstownw. A prayer service will be 5 pm Sunday.
