Jeremy Joseph “Chick” Leake, 34, of Raywick, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 30, 1977, in Louisville. He worked with his hands to make a living and was a Catholic by faith. He was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. He loved his friends and he loved the outdoors. His family will dearly miss him. He is finally at peace.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Ann Leake; a sister, Shawna Marie Leake;, grandparents, Gene and Jean Leake and grandfather, James A. Harp, Sr.
Survivors include his son, Cody Leake of Hodgenville; his father, Nickie Leake of Raywick; one brother, Joshua (Katrina) Leake of Mt. Washington; his grandmother, Barbara J. Harp of Louisville; one niece, Savanah Leake; one nephew, Logan Leake, both at home; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, with a celebration of his life at 7 p.m. at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.
