Leigh Anne Coulter, 41, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Norton Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1971, in Louisville. She was employed at Crume’s Drug Store and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert A. “Bobby” Spalding; her maternal grandfather the late Rod Barnes and her paternal grandparents, Joe and Irene Spalding.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Coulter of Bardstown; two daughters, Shelbie B. Nalley and Jemma G. Coulter, both of Bardstown; her mother, Barbara B. “Barbie” Downs and stepfather, Robert K. “Kenny” Downs, both of Bardstown;
one brother, S. Todd Spalding of Louisville; one sister, Angie L. Richardson and her son, Bobby I. Puckett of Bardstown; two stepsisters; Beverly Mattingly of Bardstown and Debi Varney of Georgetown; her maternal grandmother, Grace “Gracie” Barnes of Bardstown; one uncle, Rick Barnes of Bardstown; one aunt, Betsy Barnes “Jeff” Dodd of Alabama; and three cousins, Haley Barnes and Allison Barnes both of Bardstown and Ryan Barnes of Georgetown.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Mill Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Gary Chesser will officiate with Dr. Rick Loader assisting.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Memorial contribution may go to a scholarship fund for her two children.
