Lemons files Friday for seat on the New Haven City Commission

Friday, July 29, 2016, 2 p.m. — Charles Lemons has filed as a candidate for the New Haven City Commission.

Lemons, 61, a resident of North Main Street, filed his paperwork Friday at the Nelson County Clerk’s office as a candidate for one of the four seats on the New Haven City Commission.

The deadline to file for the non-partisan local offices — city council, city commission and school boards — on the November ballot is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.
