Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 — On Tuesday, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force seized drugs, guns, cash in connection with a drug investigation of a Bardstown couple.
Assisted by the Bardstown Police Department and Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, the drug task force action was part of an investigation of alleged illegal drug activity at the Greenwell Ford Road home of Virgil Leon Durbin, 47, and Tracey Lee Durbin, 43.
During a search of the Durbin property, police seized approximately 12-1/2 
pounds of processed marijuana; equipment consistent with the cultivation nd trafficking of marijuana; approximately $3,000 cash; numerous firearms; and two vehicles.
A police press release said Virgil Durbin has a prior felony conviction, and both Durbins have prior convictions for trafficking marijuana.
Charges were still pending at the time of the press release.
