Lois Ann Glascoe, 67, Bardstown

Lois Ann Glascoe, 67, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle crash on Louisville Road.

She was a native of Bloomfield and a graduate of McKendrie College with a degree in Business Administration. She was a retired employee of Salt River RECC, and a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church where she had served as the church pianist. She was a member of My Old Kentucky Home Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #436, she was a past worthy matron and was currently the chapter organist. She was an ambassador of Goodwill for the Eastern Star Home, a Kentucky Colonel, and a charter member of the Blooming Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Glascoe of Bardstown; her parents, Robert and Dora Hahn of Bloomfield; one sister, Sandra Cobble and her husband Henry, both of Bloomfield; two nephews, Robbie Cobble and Joey Cobble and his wife Misty, all of Bloomfield; one great-niece, Mariah Cobble of Bloomfield, and one great-nephew, Logan Cobble of Bloomfield; and several cousins.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tom Sparrow, Bro. Leland Parks, and Bro. Earl Pike officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Houghlin Funeral Home with an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7 p.m.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
