Lois Porter Johnson, 58, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born June 25, 1954, and raised in Hodgenville. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Porter; her mother, Goldie Newton; two brothers, Ronald Porter and Kenny Barnes; and one sister, Linda Hornback.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Johnson of Bardstown; one daughter, Crystal Weaver and her husband Doug, both of Louisville; one son, Michael Johnson of Louisville; two sisters, Phyllis Ward, and Cathy Porter; one brother, Paul Porter; three grandsons; three granddaughters;
A memorial service is 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
