Man dies Sunday afternoon on Icetown Road after farm tractor overturns

Sunday, June 15, 2014 — A man operating a tractor died Sunday afternoon when it overturned, trapping him beneath it. Nelson County EMS and the Rolling Fork Fire Department were dispatched at about 5:10 p.m. to an address in the 3000 block of Icetown Road. Prior to first-responders arriving, two men reported used their tractors to attempt to free the victim. The Nelson County Coroner was later called to the scene. The victim died at the scene.
