Improvements to US 150 between Bardstown and Springfield in Nelson and Washington Counties continues to progress through stages of planning and now is the time to provide concerns and comments for consideration.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet representatives are conducting a public informational meeting at the Parkway Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Bardstown on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 and in Springfield at the new Washington County High School on Thursday, May 28th, 2015. Doors at both locations will be open from 5 pm until 7 pm.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to review preliminary findings and discuss potential alternative solutions. Concerns and comments will be gathered and presented to project planning team members. Handouts, containing information about the project, comment sheets with a questionnaire, and displays will be available at the meeting. Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be available to answer any questions. Written comments will be accepted during the meeting and up to 15 days after the meeting at the District Four Office listed below.
Written comments from this meeting will become part of the official record for the project. Once compiled, the meeting record will be available for review and copy only after an Open Records Request has been received and approved. All Open Records Requests must be submitted to the Office of Legal Services, Transportation Cabinet Office Building, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky, 40622.
