Tuesday, May 8, 2018 — Nelson County EMS and the sheriff’s office responded early Tuesday morning for a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
At about 12:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, Nelson County Dispatch received a report that 45-year-old man who lived in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive had accidentally shot himself in the leg with handgun of unknown caliberd. EMS treated the victim at the scene and transported him directly to University Hospital for additional treatment.
