Next ‘Brooks & Co.’: KRC director to talk Bluegrass Pipeline issues, concerns

Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 – Tom FitzGerald, director of the Kentucky Resources Council (KRC), will be be the studio guest Tuesday from 11 to noon on WBRT’s “Brooks & Company” program on 1320 AM, 97.1 FM and streaming live online.

FitzGerald and host Jim Brooks will discuss the proposed Bluegrass Pipeline and the potential pitfalls and hazards the pipeline may pose to land owners and Kentucky communities, and information about the rights of property owners.

The Kentucky Resources Council is a nonprofit environmental advocacy organization providing, without charge, legal and technical assistance on low- and fixed-income individuals, communities, local governments, and other organizations on a range of environmental and energy issues. FitzGerald has headed the KRC since 1984.
