Anna Martha Pile, 87, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Bardstown Health and Rehab. She was born July 22, 1930, in Bardstown. She was a housewife and mother of four children, and a 1949 graduate of My Old Kentucky Home High School.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Pile; her parents, David Edgar and Amy Susan Shipp Gilkey; one sister, Alene Briggs; and two brothers, Billy Pile and Bobby Pile.
She is survived by one daughter, Patti (Roger) Eckert of Birdseye, Ind.; three sons, Gary (Kelly) Pile and Michael (Rosie) Pile, both of Bardstown, and Stephen (Vanessa) Pile of Corbin; one sister, Betty McGirk of Bardstown; two granddaughters, Amber Valentine and Heather Pile; six grandsons, Frankie (Alex) Hibbs, Chris Pile, Casey Pile, Jamie Pile, Daniel Pile, and Jordan Pile; two great-grandsons, Cyprion Jude Valentine, and Frassati Blaise Valentine; one great-granddaughter, Margot Adeline Hibbs; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Pile officiating. Burial is in Poplar Flat Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, and 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to donor’s favorite charity.
