Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Michael, 74, of Bardstown, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Charleston, West Va. She was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Franklin and Gwyndolyn Geraldine Trout Crisswell; and two brothers, Patrick Kingsley Trout Davis and James Christian Lightner.
She is survived by one sister, LaVern Catherine DeShazer of Bardstown; and one nephew, Charles Dickey of Bardstown.
The family is respecting her wishes of cremation and there will be a Memorial service 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Abundant Life Church.
Contributions have been requested to go to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
