Obituary: Becky Willis, 85, Bardstown

Becky Willis, 85 of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026 at her residence. She was born on Feb. 11, 1941 in Louisville. Becky retired from American Fuji Seal and is a member of Bardstown Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie M. Coomes; a bonus dad, Elwood Coomes; daughter, Rebecca Denise Wiggs; brother, Chris Coomes and a sister, Barbara Lyvers.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Lynn Downs (Joey) of Bardstown; son, Ricky A. Wiggs of Colesburg; brother, Elwood Coomes Jr. (Susan) of Cox’s Creek; four sisters, Mary Jo Borders of Vine Grove, Dorothy Mae Meredith of Bardstown, Doris Buchanan and Teresa DePoyster both of Shephersville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and her fur baby, Riley.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at a later date.
