

Beverly “Jeannie” Greenwell, 58, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born Dec. 22, 1955, in Louisville. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by mother, Marie A. May; and one son, David Christopher Lawrence.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Greenwell of Bardstown; two daughters, Carrie R. Lawrence, and Danielle M. (Denny) Rose, both of Bardstown; her father, Robert G. May of Louisville; two sisters, Elizabeth Hileman and Deborah Dougherty all of Louisville; one brother, Bobby May of Louisville; three granddaughters, Taylor R. Doimer, Allison M. Doimer, and Raelyn M. Rose, all of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
Visitation is noon – 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, and 9–10:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown. A prayer service is 6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
