Billy Joe Downs, 53, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at his residence. He was born June 23, 1964, in Bardstown.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Lee and Ethel Downs, Marty and Katherine Mattingly; and one great-nephew, Aydin Downs.
He is survived by his parents, Julia Downs and Billy Downs Sr.; two sisters, Laurie (Andy)Bradley, Lisa Downs; one brother, Jayson (Loribeth) Downs; special nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A prayer service is noon Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-noon at the funeral home.
The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
