Obituary: Bobby Richardson, 64, Bardstown

Bobby Richardson, 64, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at his home. He was born July 19, 1962, in Bardstown.

He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. He worked for American Fuji Seal and American Greetings. He loved camping, the river, working, his grandkids, family and he was the best dad ever.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Richardson; one brother-in-law, Dennis Huntt; and one nephew, Brian Huntt.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Richardson; three sons, Brent Rose (Jena), Cole Richardson (Emily) and Jordan Richardson (Karie); his mother, Linda Richardson; two sisters, Becky Graves (Gary) and Robin Akridge (Ken); one brother, Mike Richardson; four grandchildren, Mason, Keaton, Calum, and Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral was Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery with Dr. James Carroll officiating.

Memorial contributions may go to Parkway Baptist Church.
