Obituary: Bryan Curtis Wilson, 42, Shepherdsville

Bryan Curtis Wilson, 42, of Shepherdsville, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at his home. He was born February 16, 1984, in Louisville to Brenda Gail Downs and Roy Curtis Wilson.

He was a former employee of the Ford Motor Co. Kentucky Truck Plant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Curtis Wilson.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda and Carl Vertrees of Shepherdsville; three sisters, Brandie Keane of Fern Creek, Brittany (Matthew) Good of Shepherdsville and Stephanie Vertrees of Louisville; one nephew, Camron Coslow; and three nieces, Addi Hursh, Sophia Keane and Molly Keane.

The funeral will be private. Burial is in St. Michael Church Cemetery.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
