Buster Layne Elmore, 40, of Mount Washington, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Jewish Hospital. He was a carpenter and remodeler by trade. He was also a youth football coach for the Mount Washington Bengals and Colts Football, and baseball coach for the ACES AAU team.
Survivors included his daughter, Kelsey Elmore (Jasper Giles); one son, Hayden Elmore; his parents, Verlin and Bea Elmore; one sister, Maria McKinley (Shane); one brother, Pat Michaels (Candi); one grandson, Liam Giles; and niece and nephew, Kyle and Kayla McKinley.
The funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be go to the Hayden Elmore Trust in care of the funeral home.
