Charles “Buddy” Williams, 74 of Bardstown, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Maud. He retired from Corningware and was also a farmer. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Pat and Elizabeth Williams; and two sisters, Mary Alice Williams and Laura Frances Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Williams of Bardstown; six children, Darrell Tichener and Charlene Kimbro, both of Louisville, Zina Montgomery of Lexington, Charles S. Williams of Bardstown, Monica Williams of Fern Creek, and Demond Williams of Bloomington, Ind.; one sister, Sara Grundy of Bardstown, two brothers, John Williams and Charlie Williams, both of Fairfield; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with Theodore Witherspoon officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
