Charles Edward Colvin, 85, of High Grove, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. He was born in Marion County on May 20, 1933, to the late Sylvin and Artie Colvin. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Custom Cabinets.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Mae Colvin; one daughter, Mary Hall; his son-in-law, Larry Hall; and his infant brother, Kenneth Colvin.
Survivors include two sisters, Sharon White (Mike) and Beverly “Babs” Smith (Robert); six brothers, Frank “Louie” Colvin (Phyllis), Donnie Colvin (Marylyn), Ronnie Colvin (Anna Lee), Anthony “Buddy” Colvin (Sue), Michael Colvin, and Randy Colvin; one granddaughter, Jessica Masden (John); two great-grandchildren, Blake Masden (Katelyn) and Destinee Masden (Shawn); a close family friend, Sarah Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The funeral is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington.
Visitation is 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at the funeral home.
Military honors and a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at Lebanon National Cemetery.
The Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington is in charge of arrangements.
