Charles Edwin Sharpe, 67, of Bardstown, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Spencer 
County. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Sharpe; his parents, Richard Sharpe and Anna Barnes Wood; and three brothers, Lonnie Sharpe, James Sharpe and Larry Sharpe.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Bea Sharpe of Bardstown; four daughters, Melissa Sharp (James) and Kathy Sharpe, both of Frankfort, Tammy Wimpsett and Kimberly Gordon (Jason), both of Bardstown; one son, Corey Thompson (Renee) of Louisville; two sisters, Deloris Sharpe of Frankfort and Connie Sharpe of Illinois; two brothers, Phillip Sharpe (Betty) of Taylorsville and Jerry Sharpe (Barbara) of Russell Springs; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and special in-laws.
The funeral is 1 p.m Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at the Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Pastor Mavis Bennett will be officiating.
Visitation is 9 am.-1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
