

Charles Lee Miller, 76, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. He was born Nov. 15, 1939, in Bardstown. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a manager of Charlie’s Country Ham. He was a long time employee of Keene’s Depot and retired from Newcomb Oil managing Charlie’s County Ham.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Miller; one daughter, Charlotte Haydon; and his parents, Charles W. Miller and Mildred Miller Troutman.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Ebb) Eblen and Carla (Steve) Tobe, both of Bardstown; one son, Charles Michael Miller of Bardstown; two sisters, Sara (Jack) Clements of Bardstown and Linda (Sam) Lawrence of Edgewood; one brother, Pat (Debbie) Miller of Bardstown; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Batcheldor officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.
