Cynthia “Joanie” Greenwell, 52, of Bardstown, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at her home. She was born July 31, 
1961, in Bardstown. She was a retired cashier and a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Philip Glenn Reed.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Greenwell; one daughter, Kayla Jo Greenwell; her mother, Jeanette Reed; one sister, Sherry Pile (Perry) of Louisville; two brothers, Nicky Reed (Cindy) and Tony Reed (Tracy) both of Bardstown; brother and sister-in-law, Jonny and Lisa Parsons of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Rhodes will officiate.
Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, and 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown. A prayer service is 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
