David Huston Curtsinger, 67, of Chaplin, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 28, 1948, in Washington County to the late Marvin and Athenia Chesser Curtsinger. He was a retired security guard for American Greetings and a member of the Chaplin Baptist 
Church.
He is survived by his aunt, Arlie Walls of Willisburg; his uncle, William Harold (Pat) Chesser of Chaplin; and a cousin.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Chaplin Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Smith officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at the Chaplin Baptist Church.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
