David William Youngs Sr., 60, of Coxs Creek, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1954 in Watertown, N.Y. He was a former Store Manager for Houchens Industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Katherine Hollenback Youngs; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lynn Patenaude of Cox’s Creek; one daughter, Angela Marie (James) Murphy of Cox’s Creek; two sons, David William Youngs, Jr., of Cox’s Creek and Brad Alexander (Nikki) Youngs of Indianapolis; two sisters; three brothers; and six grandchildren, Jamie, Chandler, Chelsea, Cierra, Lake and Braden.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, after 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
