Debra Lynn “Debbie” Devine, 73, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of East Louisville. She was born June 15, 1953, in Bardstown to the late John Martin and Georgia Lee Fields Simpson.
She was a retired employee of Town & Country Bank and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Devine, as well as three siblings.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Fulkerson (Crystal Prewitt) and Chris (Dana) Devine, both of Bardstown; one sister, Lora (Joe) Downs of Louisville; one brother, Burnie (Hilda) Simpson of Cox’s Creek; five grandchildren, Kynslee Fulkerson, Dakota, Wyatt, Xander and Kayden Devine; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Bennett officiating. Burial was in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
