Donald L. “Don” Mouser, 77, of Bardstown, died Monday, June 1, 2026, at Flaget Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born July 3, 1948, in Lebanon to the late Joseph Edward “Joe Eddie” and Frances Bowling Mouser.

He was a Christian by faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He retired as a construction builder. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren — they was the love of his life.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jeaneane Mouser Thompson; and one brother, Guy Phillip Mouser.
He is survived by his wife, Letha Jean Templar Mouser of Bardstown; three daughters, Jackie (Mark) Johnson, Martina “Martie” Mouser, and Dawn Mouser, all of Bardstown; two sons, Joseph Earnest (Virginia) Mouser of Bardstown and Damon Jerome (Alyssa) Mouser of Dothan, Ala.; four sisters, Lois Ann (Tommy) Cecil, Nini (Joe) Moore, Celie (John) Sims, and Fran (Roger) Carter; nine brothers, Tommy Mouser, Chad (Ann) Mouser, Marvin Mouser, Mike (Karen) Mouser, Wallie Mouser, Garland Mouser, Errol (Johnye) Mouser, Bernie (Kim) Mouser, and Robert (Meanie) Mouser; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The graveside service was 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, at the St. Catherine Catholic Church Cemetery in New Haven.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel is in charge of services.
