Eugene Neal Turner, 75, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born May 2, 1944, in Louisville to the late Loyd and Norma Jean Carter Griffin. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Co. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one sister, Sharon Griffin Spadafore of Melbourne, Fla.; his fiancé, Iris J. Strong of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
