Evelyn Marie Hutchins, 76, of Holy Cross, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at her residence. She was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Clermont County, Ohio to the late Bill and Beulah Mae Steingruber Naegele.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hutchins (2013); a number of siblings; and one great-grandson, Levi Hutchins.
Survivors include seven daughters; Cathy Willett (R.D.) of New Hope, Tina Hutchins of Boston, Carolyn Reid (Eddie) of Manton, Theresa Hutchins Shuler of Louisville, Kim Brady and Sandra Lynn Taylor (Louis), both of Holy Cross, and Bonnie Jo Burns (Edward) of Clarkson; one sister, Frances Cull (Vernon) of Amelia, Ohio; one brother, Joe Naegele of Boynton Beach, Fla.; 37 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Pam Mattingly of Holy Cross.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto. Burial is in the church cemetery with the Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson officiating.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, and 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Wednesday evening with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Her daughters will serve as pallbearers.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
