Gregory Coleman Riggs, 57, of Hodgenville, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown surrounded by his family. He was born Dec. 18, 1968, to the late Ronald Coleman Riggs.
He served his county in the U.S. Marines and was deployed during Desert Storm. Following his service in the Marine Corp., he went into construction as a supervisor.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer Whitlock Riggs of Hodgenville; his mother, Linda (Lee) Roark; one daughter, Emily Whitlock of Hodgenville; two sons, Joshua (Danielle) Riggs of Smith Grove and Austin (Kelsey) Riggs of Springfield; and six grandchildren, Adalynn, Kennedy, Alaki, Oakley, Titus, and Wrenlee.
The funeral is 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, in the chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral home with Bro. Darren Wolford officiating. Burial is in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at the funeral home.
