Guadalupe Martinez, 61, of Springfield, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Spring View Hospital. she was born Dec. 9, 1954, in Juarez, Mexico. She was a self-employed caregiver and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Hernandez and Mary Soto.
She is survived by four children, Ruby Smallwood of Bardstown, Patsy Atkinson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sally Rios of Springfield, and Jerry Rios of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Mary Martinez and Chole Rodriguez both of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and 13 grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be private.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
