Haley Nicole Dues, 10, of Springfield, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She 
was born April 2, 2003, in Lebanon. She was a fourth-grader at Bardstown Elementary and of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Wayne Dues, Sr.; oner cousin, William Wade III; and great-grandparents, Billy and Bonnie Wade, Mary Catherine Walls Hooper and Leon and Margie Clark Donahue.
She is survived by her parents, Rhonda Wade and John Wayne Dues Jr. of Springfield; one sister, Tessa Marie Dues of Springfield; her maternal grandparents, Joseph Darrel and Darlene Donahue Wade of Cox’s Creek; and her paternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Dues of Willisburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown. A prayer service is Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
