Herschell D. Burgess Jr., 77, of New Haven, originally of Glasgow, died Sunday, April 25, 2014 at University Hospital in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschell D. Burgess and Ruby Staples Burgess.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff with the United States Marine Corps. presenting military honors.
The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
