

James Audley “Jimmy” Terry, 79, of Bardstown, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 29, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born Feb. 8, 1937, he was a graduate of Arlington State College (later UTA). He retired as Director of Development for Pizza Hut, Inc. and was a member of the Bardstown United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Evelyn (Grissom) Terry; one sister, Sandra Kirkpatrick; and one son, Gary Ross.
Survivors include his wife Grace Terry; five sons, Dennis (Lynnie) Terry of Houston, Jason (Amy) Terry of Orlando, Randy (Leesa) Ross of Austin, Texas, Christopher Ledesma of Miami, and Andrew (Lori) Abell of Bardstown; one sister, Sylvia (Leo) Chamberlin of Dallas; one brother, Don (Rhonda) Terry of Stillwater, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or Bernheim Aboretum and Research Forest in Clermont.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
