
James Larry Snider, 56, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was born June 18, 1958, in Warren County, Tenn. He was a retired chief gunner’s mate for the U.S. Navy, a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Megan LaFern Snider; and one brother, Billy Eugene Snider, who passed away last week.
He is survived by his wife, Robbyn LaFern Snider;
one daughter, Jessica Lorene Snider of Bloomfield; two sons, James Larry Snider II
and Clinton Lane Snider, both of Bloomfield; his parents, Billy Ray Snider and Lorene Whitworth Snider of Bradford, Ind.; one sister, Phyllis Elaine Cummings of Clarksville, Ind.; and two nieces, Leah and Anna.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with Phillip Fulkerson officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, and 11 a.m.-1p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
