James Marvin Reynolds Jr., 85, of Lebanon, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 18,1940, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Heaven Hill Distillery with more than 40 years of employment. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carol Reynolds (March 11, 2022); his parents, James Marvin Reynolds Sr. and Flora L. Brockman Reynolds; five siblings, Martha Jean Darnell, Eugene Reynolds, Juanita Thomas, Jerry Reynolds, and Deveral Cambron.
Survivors include three children,
one daughter, Debbie Brahm of Loretto; two sons, Steve Reynolds (Lisa) of Louisville and Rodney Reynolds (Michelle) of Lebanon; one sister, Anna Yvonne Reynolds of Bardstown; one brother, Charles Reynolds of Bardstown; seven grandchildren, Cody Brahm (Rachel), Thomas Brahm II (AnneMarie), Ann Morgan Nelson (Matt), McKenzie Reynolds (Dylan Pittman), Steven Reynolds (Lindsay), Jennifer Gray (Isaiah) and Lindsay Leake; 11 great-grandchildren, Aria Nelson, Isla Nelson, Camden Stiles, Ava Reynolds, Lincoln Stith, Houston Stith, Destiny (Austin) Tinker, Brevin (McKenzie) Tinker, Elijah Tinker, Kree Reynolld and Reece Reynolds; and several great-great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Terry L. Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto with a 7 p.m. prayer service with Deacon Dennis A. May.
Pallbearers are Steven Reynolds, Reece Reynolds, Cody Brahm, Matt Nelson, Camden Stiles, and Tom Brahm II.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
