Jessie Mae Shipp, 61, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Lebanon, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Louisville 
after an illness. She was born Nov. 16, 1952, to the late George J. “Buster” and Annie Lindsey Shannon. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry Shipp; two sisters, Lizzie Mae Sanders and Frances Reardon; and one brother, Sonny Raikes.
She is survived by two daughters, Angel Mattingly of Lebanon and Sunny Shipp of Shepherdsville; one son, Toby Lee Shipp of Lebanon; two sisters, Wanda Crowe of Mooreland and Catherine Boyld of Mitchellsburg; two brothers, Tom Raikes of Lebanon and David Lloyd Raikes of Danville; six grandchildren, Douglas, Ally, Kristen, Rachel, Michael, and T Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral was Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Chambers Cemetery in Mitchellsburg.
The Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
