Jo Ann Parrish, 72, of Bardstown, died Sunday,Sept. 1, 2013, at Flaget Memorial in Bardstown. She was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Galloway, Tenn. She was a retired teacher’s aide for the Nelson County Schools and she was a former member of the Cox’s Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Parrish; her parents, Joe and Ann Ferrill McCulley; one sister, Mary Beth Hartzell; and one brother, Steve McCulley.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Parrish and Tony Parrish, both of Bardstown;
two sisters, Linda (Russell) Cales and Nancy Floyd, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Abbie and Cameron Parrish.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the funeral home.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
