Joseph Edward “Teddy” Ballard, 49, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at his residence. He was born Feb. 22, 1969, in Nelson County to the late Thomas William and Julia “Judy” Donahue Ballard. He worked for Mitsuba of Bardstown as a fork lift operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Ballard.
He is survived by one daughter, Sarah Ballard of Bardstown; three sons, Chris (Jacque) Godbey and Derek Ballard, both of Bardstown, and Adam (Megan) Ballard of Chaplin; one brother, Mark Ballard of Bardstown; one grandson, Levi Sammy Godbey; and the mother of his children, Becky Godbey of Bardstown.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery with Bro. Josh Bunch officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
