Joseph Garrett Dugan, 30, of Bardstown, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at his residence. He was born Sept. 30, 1986, in Louisville to Wynn and Lisa Culver Dugan. He never met a stranger and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wynn Dugan; his grandparents, Harold and Lena Dugan, and Joseph Richard “Dickie” and Marilyn Head “Toodles” Culver.
He is survived by one daughter, Layken Raylee Dugan of Bardstown; the mother of his daughter, Ashley Ballard Do of Bardstown; his mother, Lisa Dugan of Bardstown; one brother, Grant Dugan of Bardstown; one aunt; two uncles; and several great aunts, great uncles, and numerous cousins.
The funeral is 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017, at the New Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Jonathan Gann and the Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and noon-4:30 p.m. Monday at the New Salem Baptist Church.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
