Joseph Wayne Hodge, age 67, of Cox’s Creek, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2026. He was born Friday, July 17, 1959 in Louisville.
He was a very caring and generous hardworking man no matter his health to provide for his family that he loved dearly. He was a Jehovah Witness by faith. His interests were wood work, reading his bible, working, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by Billy Paul, Pauline Hodge, and his son Matthew William Hodge.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tammy Hodge; two daughters, Megan Alderman (Mikey) and Crystal Hodge (Wes); one daughter-in-law, Lindsey Traxler; five sisters, Alice Goodman, Christine Browning, Mabel Clark, Wanda Catlette, and Sue Votaw (Wallace); six brothers, Donnie Hodge, Ronnie Hodge, Robert Hodge, Johnny Hodge, David Hodge and Tommy Hodge; 10 grandchildren, Tori, Cody, Clayton, Skyler, Laylee, Cheyenne, Corbin, Levi, Lisa and Carlee; and a host of other family and friends.
The Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
