Joyce Laverne Burkhardt Wagner, 75, of New Haven, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Louisville to the late Johnnie and Agnes Laverne Morgan Burkhardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Lee Wagner; one son, Keith Wagner; and several siblings.
She worked as a Naval Reservist. She also worked at Toyota as a factory worker.
She loved her family dearly, and her church family.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelli Wagner of New Haven and Amy (Matthew) Spalding; three grandchildren, Kaylee (Devyn) Shannon, Jackson Spalding, and Alexandria Spalding; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at the Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at the church.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel is in charge of services.
