Leona Kay Beam, 68, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at her home. She was a member of the Lebanon Junction TOPS group and a member of Dennie Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Edward and Betty Jean Welker Kappel; three brothers, David Allen Kappel, Mark Kappel and Michael Kappel; and her grandparents, including Anna B. Welker Wahl.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Beam; four sons, John Edward Beam (Pam), Alan Russel Beam (Mary Jo), Anthony Dewayne Beam and James Scot Beam (Amanda); two brothers, Paul Kappel and Kevin Kappel; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral in Lebanon Junction with burial in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
