Lola Marie Ballard, 82, of Boston, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at the Franciscan Assisted Living Center. She was a homemaker and attended St. Clare Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Ballard; her parents, Alton Davis and Lennie Horn Kinsey; four sisters, Ella Nichols, Eva Mae Simmons, Ruby Reading and Esther Haworth; and five brothers, Lee Kinsey, John Kinsey, Harlan Kinsey, Clyde “Bussy” Kinsey and Glenn Kinsey.
Survivors include one sister, Betty Macadoo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Kappel Funeral Home in Boston with Pastor Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial is in the St. Clare Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at the funeral home.
Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
