Louise Smith Chantelois, 66, of Lake, Mich., formerly of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. She was born April 1, 1947, in Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a retired real estate broker with Coldwell Banker and a member of Living Hope Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alma Bush.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Chantelois of Lake, Mich.; two daughters, Sheryl Metzger of Bardstown and Pam Bryan of Glendale; three stepchildren, Michael Chantelois of Brooklyn, Mich., Patrick Chantelois of Frankfort, Ill., and Kelly Chantelois of Saline, Mich.; one brother, Larry Bush of Saline, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, Shalyn Jones, Pam Gentile, Meghan Dickie, Chloe Metzger, Evan Payne, Ryan Payne, Logan Bryan, Seth Bryan, Kaice Chantelois, David Chantelois and Libby Perrington; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Visitation is noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Living Hope Lutheran Church in Farwell, Michigan.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
