Lynn Gail Adkins, 59, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
She enjoyed being with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed motorcycle rallies and decorating for the holidays. She was very outgoing and adventurous.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Craven (Pops) and Marilyn Adkins; two brothers, Bobby Durham and Ronny Durham; and two nieces, Sandy Allen and Heather Fulkerson.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Barnett and Justin (Heather) Barnett; one sister, Edna Holcomb; one brother, Jessie Holcomb; five grandchildren, Autumn Barnett, Phoebe Barnett, JJ Barnett, Ian Kidwell, and Bentlee Barnett; seven nieces, Madison Allen, Amanda Allen (Cayden), Candy Allen (Destiny and Leon Henderson), Madison Allen, Khloe Logsdon, and Jaylani Lee; two nephews, Calvin Cary (Troy) and Derick Logsdon; and her boyfriend, Scotty Whitehouse.
The graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
