Obituary: Margie Catherine Woford, 83, Lebanon

Margie Catherine Woford, 83, of Lebanon, died Friday, June 21, 2019, at her home. She was born July 14, 1935, in Chaplin to the late Richard and Grace Thomas Morris. She was a retired employee of Jane and Linda Sportswear and was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Gootee; one son, Richard Alan Woford; four sisters; five brothers; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Ewing of Knoxville; one son, Jim (Anita) Woford of Lebanon; a special daughter, Sissy Walls of Bardstown; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Doug Simpson officiating. Burial is in Highview Cemetery at Chaplin.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
