Mary Borgia Smith, 101, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014. She was born Nov. 9, 1913, in Lebanon. She was manager of Lebanon Goodwill for 32 years, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralphiel Carlton Smith (1981); her parents, Fred Zachary and Agnes Mouser Mann; six sisters, Bernice Mardis, Pauline Stine, Iona Spalding, Ann Lara Adams, Gertrude Jones, Drucilla Stein; and three brothers, Junior Mann, Billy Mann and Jodie Mann.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Raikes of Lebanon, Mary Jane Gribbins of Lebanon;
four sons, Jerry (Carol) Smith of St. Louis, Jimmy (Christine) Smith of Lebanon, KY, Tommie (Bettie) Smith of Springfield and Johnny (Marsha) Smith of Standford; one sister, Mary Alice Marzian of Louisville; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Friday with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
