Mary Helen Riley Cox, 69, of Bardstown, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Jewish Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1946, in Spencer County and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Cox; two sons, Joe Cox and Eddie Cox; here parents, Harvey Lee and Clara Elizabeth Riley; two sisters, Bonnie Hill and Betty Bentley; and two brothers, Joe Riley and Jimmy Riley.
She is survived by two daughters, Kaye White of Willisburg and Laura (Lester) Bryant of St. Francis; three sons, Bobby (Stacey) Cox, Allen (Linda) Cox and Michael Leon Cox all of Bardstown; four sisters, Ann Hahn of Cox’s Creek, Leigh Standiford and Donna Coulter, both of Bardstown, and Rita Curtsinger of Willisburg; two brothers, Ricky Riley of Louisville and Roy Riley of Bardstown; 13 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 stepgreat-grandchild.
The funeral is 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Haynes officiating.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go toward funeral services.
